When @shan.stringfellowphotography asked me for advice on her camera settings, there wasn’t even a second thought — I’ll always share what I know. There’s space for all of us to grow, learn, and succeed.

I’ve been doing photography since 2012 (13 years now!), and if there’s one thing I truly believe, it’s that women supporting women will always win.

That one conversation turned into “I need some branding photos…” and suddenly we made a whole morning out of it.

We laughed, we created, we figured out her camera together, and of course — hyped each other up the entire time. Honestly, it was such a special shoot ✨

We work together at Studio Alora, and I’m so grateful to be part of such a supportive, inspiring team of women 🤍

It’s all lies.

You know the photos: perfectly posed at a coffee shop, sitting pin-straight, sipping a latte while staring dreamily into the distance. It’s directed. It’s planned. It’s fake.

This is the reality. The “editor slouch,” the screen glare, and gulping down water while my eyes are glued to the timeline. Real work isn’t always pretty, but it’s how the magic actually happens. 💻✨

You know those “effortless” content shots?

Yeah… this is what they actually look like behind the scenes 😂

Tiny adjustments. Weird angles. Questionable posture.
And apparently… using my nose to focus??

Wouldn’t change a thing though — because all of this, is my way of getting THE SHOT!
